ECOLE seeks to explore what living sustainably in an urban setting means. What does living in a city mean in terms of opportunities and limitations? How does this affect our ideas of social and material sustainability?
The eight student facilitators living in ECOLE will be exploring these questions and testing out different living practices with the guidance and input of other ECOLE community members. Their goal is to shape a model of urban sustainable living that all participating in the ECOLE Project can be a part of, and to share their lessons learned with the broader McGill, Milton Parc, and Montréal communities so we can build a more sustainable city.
